Dana Allan Young is a true maverick of electronic music. His approach is pure and undiluted and his imagination incendiary. He holds no truck with false sheen or artifice and composes with a fearless bravado not dissimilar to Franz Kline or Jackson Pollock.

Maybe it was 5 or 6 years ago when we first started collaborating with the C.A.N.S. (Central Asian Nervous System) label and then later actually started putting a few tracks together. It always seemed we shared an anarchic kinship in our approach and perhaps the reason for not working together more was that we both adopt a very physical approach which is hard to capture from different sides of the globe.

These tracks have come together slowly and because of this are far more alive and complimentary than they would have been if we had tried to force the completion of a project. We make no attempt to follow a style or genre, this is music from our stomachs and our hearts, not from our heads.

In accepting that we will always exist on the margins we allow ourselves a far greater freedom of expression and honesty in what we are able to produce. If we were at all rational we would have stopped years ago, the truth is we have no choice but to continue.

The maps have been burnt, the brake pedal sawn off, they are useless when you choose not to follow the road.
