Release notes from NYH release (June 2017) (Special thanks, Vincent Koreman)

pH2, aka Peter Hope, has been pushing electronic music forward since the early 80's. It's impossible to give a full overview of what this great producer has been involved with over the formative years of electronic music, but he was active and collaborated in the field of bands like The Box, Flex 13, Clock DVA, Hoodoo, Sweet Exorcist and Cabaret Voltaire's Richard H. Kirk. This was the era in which the UK shaped house and techno from industrial and acid from no wave and techno. Intp the 90's Hope continued on with unique projects like The Impossible and White Trash.

Years on, Peter is still creating great great music and we at NYH were so lucky to snatch up some of em! We proudly bring you an extended EP called GUT ACID, with 8 banging tracks that are not retro in the sense that they are looking back to the past, but are def bringing back stuff missed in most acid and house today. Great vocal hooks, blasting 303's and above all, absolutely killer funky drum programming that really bring a cut to life! Enjoy these cuts and instantly recognise a creator of the craft and an inventor of the craft, bringing forth new music that is among some of the best electronic music today!
